Lateicia Ford
Founder & Lead Consultant

Lateicia Ford began her career as administration manager for the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) on a contract with the NASA Explorer Schools (NES) program in 2006. This program focused on educator professional development specifically in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).  While working for NES, Lateicia expanded her network to include higher education aerospace education programs, and within 3 years, she was offered a position as an analyst for Valador Inc.  Lateicia worked on a NASA Headquarters contract from 2009-2017 on two nationally recognized programs – The National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program (Space Grant) and the Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR). These two programs combined received approximately $60 million in federal funding each fiscal year. NASA provided training in grants management, project management, and program analysis, and Lateicia has helped these programs reach their goals every year during her tenure.  With grants to over 52 state-based college consortia and funding for over 4,000 students per year, these programs continue to thrive. Lateicia strives for sustainability in every project she works on because these projects literally jump start the careers of thousands of students each year.

Lateicia most recently worked for the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) as a project specialist for the Expanding Community College Apprenticeships (ECCA) program. The program was a collaboration with the U.S. Department of Labor, and served over 20,000 registered apprentices between March 2019 – June 2022.

As a consultant, Mrs. Ford also supported Global Science and Technology (GST) in a huge contract bid with the prime contractor Guardians of Honor (GOH).  This contract is a 5-year contract worth $290 million over 5 years with NASA Office of STEM Engagement.

On a smaller level, Mrs. Ford also provides short-term administrative support to the television and film industry. She has produced and coordinated several film and commercial projects. Most recently she was contracted to provide production coordination services for Mega Mind Media and BET for an upcoming biopic.
